E via, la SPRING EDITION 2022-2023 è cominciata! Noi non vedevamo l’ora, anche perchè quest’anno il meteo è uno spettacolo! Niente nebbia, freddo gestibile e bellissime giornate di sole, l’ideale per affrontare i primi addestramenti!
Queste prime due settimane di Febbraio le abbiamo praticamente trascorse dedicandoci agli ingabbi dei primi tre addestramenti (due dei quali erano programmati e uno, quello “extra”, aggiunto in corso d’opera per garantire ai colombi una migliore preparazione)!
Unica piccola eccezione è stata la trasferta a Fugare, dove non avevamo uno stand, ma siamo andati a trovare alcuni amici e a lasciare un po’ di volantini per la prossima edizione estiva!
Ma se a Fugare non avevamo uno stand, di certo non vale per la fiera di Houten! Infatti, se volessi venire a trovarci e a chiedere informazioni, ci potrai trovare allo stand 365! Piccolo spoiler, presenteremo anche il sito di aste dei nostri amici e colleghi della Digital Pigeons! Insomma, non potete mancare!

And off we go, the SPRING EDITION 2022-2023 has begun! We couldn’t wait, also because this year the weather is spectacular! No fog, manageable cold and beautiful sunny days, ideal for tackling your first training sessions!
We practically spent these first two weeks of February dedicating ourselves to the crating of the first three trainings (two of which were scheduled and one, the “extra”, added during construction to ensure better preparation for the pigeons)!
The only small exception was the trip to Fugare, where we didn’t have a stand, but we went to visit some friends and leave some flyers for the next summer edition!
But if we didn’t have a stand at Fugare, it certainly doesn’t apply to the Houten fair! In fact, if you would like to come and visit us and ask for information, you can find us at booth 365! Addestramento “extra” / “Extra” training
Il giorno 7 Febbraio è cominciata l’avventura per i nostri campioni! Primo lancio, molto vicino al loft, che è servito per prendere confidenza con le ceste!
Noi ne abbiamo anche approfittato per sistemare qualche piccolo dettaglio con i nomi dei concorrenti e con le loro nazionalità!
Comunque è stato un addestramento tranquillo, 413 colombi ingabbiati e 401 rientrati, il 97%!
The adventure for our champions began on February 7th! First launch, very close to the loft, which was used to get familiar with the baskets!
We also took the opportunity to fix some small details with the names of the competitors and their nationalities!
However it was a smooth training, 413 caged pigeons and 401 returned, 97%!
1º addestramento / 1st training
Dopo due giorni abbiamo ingabbiato nuovamente per il primo “vero” addestramento della SPRING EDITION 2022-2023, il 9 Febbraio abbiamo infatti effettuato il lancio da S. Angelo Lodigiano (circa 5 km dal nostro loft).
Anche in questo caso è andato tutto abbastanza bene e il meteo stabile ha aiutato in questo senso! Dei 405 colombi ingabbiati ne sono rientrati 386, oltre il 95%!
In seguito a questo lancio abbiamo fatto una breve pausa, perchè, come abbiamo accennato poco fa, siamo andati a Fugare dal 10 al 12 Febbraio! Ma appena rientrati ci siamo messi nuovamente sotto!
After two days we caged again for the first “real” training of the SPRING EDITION 2022-2023. On February 9, in fact, we launched from S. Angelo Lodigiano (about 5 km from our loft).
Again everything went quite well and the stable weather helped in this sense! Of the 405 caged pigeons, 386 returned, over 95%!
Following this launch we took a short break because, as we mentioned earlier, we went to Fugare from February 10th to 12th! But as soon as we got back we got under it again!
2º addestramento / 2nd training
Il 15 Febbraio è infatti andato in scena il secondo addestramento della SPRING EDITION 2022-2023, con lancio da Vigarolo (una frazione a circa 10 km dal loft).
Purtroppo, dopo pochi secondi dalla liberazione dei colombi, quando il gruppo si era appena compattato, abbiamo ricevuto la visita indesiderata di un falco (probabilmente un pellegrino)!
Sfortunatamente è riuscito a prendere un colombo e per lui non c’è stato niente da fare. Ci spiace moltissimo per lui e per il suo proprietario! Oltre al danno recato al malcapitato, anche gli altri colombi sono sicuramente rimasti frastornati, infatti ci hanno messo più del previsto a rientrare!
In ogni caso, dei 387 ingabbiati 356 sono riusciti a trovare la via di casa, il 92%!
Il terzo addestramento è programmato per sabato 18 Febbraio e speriamo vivamente di non ricevere ulteriori visite sgradite!
Qualcuno avrà notato che per i primi addestramenti non siamo riusciti a pubblicare i soliti video, chiediamo scusa, ma la trasferta a Fugare e gli impegni così ravvicinati ne hanno reso praticamente impossibile la realizzazione! Ora però abbiamo ripreso e non ci fermeremo più fino alla FINALE!

In fact, the second training of the SPRING EDITION 2022-2023 took place on February 15, with launch from Vigarolo (a hamlet about 10 km from the loft).
Unfortunately, a few seconds after the release of the pigeons, when the group had just compacted, we received the unwanted visit of a falcon (probably a peregrine)!
Unfortunately he managed to catch a pigeon and there was nothing for him to do. We are very sorry for him and his owner! In addition to the damage done to the unfortunate victim, the other pigeons were certainly dazed, in fact it took them longer than expected to return!
In any case, of the 387 caged, 356 managed to find their way home, 92%!
The third training is scheduled for Saturday 18 February and we sincerely hope not to receive further unwelcome visits!
Someone may have noticed that for the first training sessions we weren’t able to publish the usual videos, we apologize, but the trip to Fugare and such close commitments made it practically impossible to achieve! But now we have resumed and we will not stop until the FINAL!
