Eccoci finalmente con l’articolo di riepilogo di Marzo. Ci scuserai se siamo “usciti” con qualche giorno di ritardo, ma è stato un mese molto intenso.
Tra gare conclusive della WINTER EDITION 2021-2022, inizio della raccolta per la SUMMER EDITION 2022, fiera di Houten e asta dei colombi arrivati dalla finale dell’edizione invernale è stato un periodo pieno di impegni!
In questo articolo tratteremo proprio questi argomenti (ad eccezione dell’asta della WINTER EDITION, che essendo cominciata ad Aprile verrà commentata nel prossimo aggiornamento).
Partiamo dalla raccolta per la SUMMER EDITION 2022! Sta andando molto bene, abbiamo già effettuato un primo giro nel Nord Europa (proprio in concomitanza della fiera di Houten), poi siamo stati in Sicilia e ci stiamo preparando per il secondo giro europeo! Cogliamo l’occasione per ringraziare TUTTI quelli che ci stanno dando, e rinnovando, la loro fiducia! Grazie infinite!
Ma ora riprendiamo il filo cronologico di quello che è accaduto nel mese di Marzo, uno dei più impegnativi e ricco di appuntamenti da quando esiste la Milan Best Pigeons!
Here we are finally with the summary article of March. We will apologize if we “came out” a few days late, but it has been a very busy month.
Between the final races of the WINTER EDITION 2021-2022, the beginning of the harvest for the SUMMER EDITION 2022, the Houten fair and the auction of the pigeons that arrived from the final of the winter edition, it was a busy period!
In this article we will deal with these topics (with the exception of the WINTER EDITION auction, which having started in April will be commented on in the next update).
Let’s start with the collection for the SUMMER EDITION 2022! It is going very well, we have already made a first lap in Northern Europe (just in conjunction with the Houten fair), then we went to Sicily and we are preparing for the second European tour! We take this opportunity to thank ALL those who are giving us, and renewing, their trust! Thank you so much!
But now let’s get back to the chronological thread of what happened in March, one of the most demanding and full of events since the Milan Best Pigeons has existed!
3º Gara / 3rd race
Lancio effettuato da Cesena (253 km), colombi ingabbiati 145 (di cui 14 erano quelli appartenenti alla classifica separata, colombi rientrati 123 (cioè l’85% circa)!
Basterebbe questo per riassumere l’andamento della gara, ma, giusto per dare qualche dettaglio in più, va detto che le difficoltà incontrate nei lanci precedenti e il clima stabilizzato hanno aiutato i nostri piccoli campioni a rientrare molto bene!
Questo ci ha dato coraggio e speranza per le due gare conclusive, e decisive, della WINTER EDITION 2021-2022!
Launch carried out from Cesena (253 km), 145 caged pigeons (of which 14 were those belonging to the separate classification, 123 pigeons returned (i.e. about 85%)!
This would be enough to summarize the progress of the race, but, just to give some more details, it must be said that the difficulties encountered in the previous launches and the stabilized climate helped our little champions to return very well!
This gave us courage and hope for the two final and decisive races of the WINTER EDITION 2021-2022!
Fiera di Houten / Fair of Houten
Il fine settimana del 5-6 Marzo si è svolta la fiera di Houten, una delle più importanti del panorama colombofilo europeo, ed è stata un’esperienza fantastica!
Abbiamo incontrato amici e colombofili che non riuscivamo a vedere da anni, conosciuto professionisti fantastici coi quali si è stretta una bella amicizia, trovato nuovi agenti per alcuni Paesi e passato un fine settimana a discutere di tematiche a noi carissime, l’incredibile mondo dei colombi viaggiatori!
Il nostro stand era posizionato in una zona centrale della fiera, al numero 375 (molto vicino ad alcuni colossi di questo mondo, come BENZING e PIPA), e abbiamo ricevuto la visita di alcune vere e proprie icone di questo sport, uno su tutti Gerard Koopman!
In concomitanza con la fiera è anche cominciata la raccolta per la SUMMER EDITION 2022 e, come accennato poco fa, siamo molto soddisfatti, oltre che molto impegnati per terminare gli ultimi giri all’estero. Nei giorni 20-21-22 Aprile saremo nuovamente in Svizzera, Olanda, Francia, Belgio, Germania e Austria per raccogliere altri piccoli campioni che prenderanno parte all’edizione estiva del 2022! The weekend of March 5-6 took place the Houten fair, one of the most important in the European pigeon scene, and it was a fantastic experience!
We met friends and pigeon lovers that we hadn’t been able to see for years, met fantastic professionals with whom we made a beautiful friendship, found new agents for some countries and spent a weekend discussing issues that are dear to us, the incredible world of racing pigeons!
Our stand was located in a central area of the fair, at number 375 (very close to some giants of this world, such as BENZING and PIPA), and we received the visit of some true icons of this sport, one above all Gerard Koopman!
In conjunction with the fair, the collection for the SUMMER EDITION 2022 has also begun and, as mentioned above, we are very satisfied, as well as very busy to finish the last laps abroad. On 20-21-22 April we will be back in Switzerland, Holland, France, Belgium, Germany and Austria to collect other small champions who will take part in the summer edition of 2022! Gara Semifinale / Semifinal race
Neanche il tempo di riprenderci dopo la fiera che siamo dovuti entrare in clima gare, era il momento di affrontare la penultima difficoltà della WINTER EDITION 2021-2022.
La semifinale ha ricalcato un po’ le orme della 3º gara, 127 colombi ingabbiati (considerando entrambe le gare) e 113 rientrati, vale a dire circa il 90%!
Risultato strepitoso se si considera anche il tipo di arrivo, 17 colombi insieme e circa 90 in giornata. Insomma una gran bella gara!
Pesaro è sempre una gara impegnativa, ma molto interessante, coi suoi 314 km e una bella fetta d’Italia attraversata. Però la prova è stata superata alla grande e le aspettative per la finale erano altissime! Questi sono i primi 3 classificati, e i premi che si sono aggiudicati, della semifinale:
- Redemagni Giulio col colombo IT-18659-21, vincita 700€
- Vecchi William col colombo IT-93258-21, vincita 500€
- Fogado Andrea col colombo IT-124252-21, vincita 300€
Not even the time to recover after the fair that we had to enter the racing climate, it was time to face the penultimate difficulty of the WINTER EDITION 2021-2022.
The semifinal followed a bit in the footsteps of the 3rd race, 127 pigeons caged (considering both races) and 113 returned, that is to say about 90%!
An amazing result if we also consider the type of arrival, 17 pigeons together and about 90 in the day. In short, a great race!
Pesaro is always a demanding race, but very interesting, with its 314 km and a nice slice of Italy crossed. But the test was successfully passed and the expectations for the final were very high! These are the first 3 classified, and the prizes they have won, of the semifinal:

Gara Finale / Final race
Lancio ore 9:00 da Macerata (408 km)! I colombi ingabbiati erano (sempre considerando entrambe le classifiche) 117!
La sfortuna degli addestramenti e delle primissime gare ci aveva ufficialmente lasciati in pace, così, anche la finale, è stata caratterizzata da una splendida giornata di sole! Siamo anche riusciti ad organizzare un piccolo rinfresco per i presenti, così da ingannare l’attesa e l’ansia di scoprire il vincitore della WINTER EDITION 2021-2022!
Dopo poco più di 5 ore di volo (si, sono andati veramente forte) ecco apparire i primi colombi! Per la precisione ben 11! In gare del genere è un ottimo risultato!
A fine giornata i novelli che sono riusciti a rientrare erano circa 80 e una volta chiusa la gara, e spento l’orologio, il numero era salito addirittura a 95! L’80% circa!
Inutile dire la nostra soddisfazione, ma considerando la sfortuna di inizio edizione diremmo che ce la siamo meritata!
Ecco i primi 3 classificati, con i rispettivi premi, della finale:

- Team Pignotti col colombo IT-28090-21, vincita 4.000€

Alla fine di tutte le gare, proprio come per la SUMMER EDITION, sono stati decretati anche i 3 vincitori degli ACE Pigeons, che ti ricordiamo era calcolato su tutte e 5 le gare prendendo il numero dei chilometri percorsi e dividendolo per il tempo effettivo trascorso in gara (la classica velocità media)!

Anche questa prima edizione invernale si è conclusa. È stata un’edizione veramente difficile, piena di problemi climatici, alcune incomprensioni organizzative e di qualche polemica alla quale abbiamo sempre risposto con sincerità e fermezza sulle nostre pagine social!
Ma comunque rimaniamo soddisfatti di come è andata e di come si sono comportati i nostri amati colombi!

The bad luck of the trainings and the very first races had officially left us alone, so even the final was characterized by a splendid sunny day! We also managed to organize a small reception for those present, so as to pass the wait and the anxiety of discovering the winner of the WINTER EDITION 2021-2022!
After a little more than 5 hours of flight (yes, they went really fast) here are the first pigeons! To be precise, 11! In such races it is an excellent result!
At the end of the day, the newcomers who managed to return were about 80 and once the race was over, and the clock turned off, the number had even risen to 95! About 80%!
Needless to say, our satisfaction, but considering the bad luck at the beginning of the edition we would say that we deserved it!
Here are the top 3 finishers, with their respective prizes, of the final:

At the end of all the races, just like for the SUMMER EDITION, the 3 winners of the ACE Pigeons were also decreed, which we remind you was calculated on all 5 races by taking the number of kilometers traveled and dividing it by the actual time spent in race (the classic average speed)!
